Management Summary

The example of Teufen local authority demonstrates how the heterogeneous needs and knowledge of the population

and the administration of a small local authority can be handled. The people in charge at the local authority included the residents in their e-Government endeavours at an early stage and carried out usability tests. In addition, Teufen kicked off the launch of the internet community with a PR campaign. These measures, combined with the right technical implementation, have brought success.
